Trying to cure diseases with sound is actually a technical medical method that is scientifically recognized. Science and technology are improving. At the same time, the quality of life of people is also changing. Problems like anxiety and mental stress are constantly increasing. As a result, the fear of more complex diseases is arising. On the other hand, conscious people want modern solutions. So that mental problems can be cured without medicine. We see many techniques for curing diseases that are different from medicine-based medical methods. One such method is ‘sound therapy’. This medical method is many centuries old!
According to ancient methods, attempts were made to cure diseases by creating sound. This method is unknown to us in the current modern medical system. It benefits the body in many ways. If a person has a headache, mental illness, stress, then sound therapy can help him a lot, which has been tested since ancient times!

Experts say that words have the power to cure diseases. The word ‘upaya’ is more powerful than the Brahmastra! Its power is incredible and infinite. Therefore, it has to be used with understanding and knowledge. It is possible to cure diseases by using these words. According to experts, the effect of words is remembered. Because, words have the power to calm and disturb the mind. The effect of the mind also greatly affects the body. As a result, experts agree that it is possible to fix various problems in the body through words. They have also mentioned some of the ways to do this, which are highlighted below.
Bhramari Pranayama: This pranayama helps to concentrate the mind and take it to the stage of meditation. The vibration of sound calms the mind and nerves. For this, first sit straight. Close your eyes and gently place your fingers on them. While breathing in through your nose and exhaling through your mouth, make a sound like a bhumra, i.e. a bee. This not only keeps the mind calm but also refreshes the body.
Chanting: Mantra has a special significance. It has a specific rhythm and sound. Its effect directly affects the body and gives a feeling of peace. Many people meditate by chanting the word ‘Om’. However, one can choose the words according to their beliefs or preferences. This removes all the negative energy from the body and recharges it with new energy.
Toning Sounds: There are different sounds to cure diseases of different parts of the body. For example, the pronunciation of ‘Nnn’ is good for the ears. You can apply the word ‘Eemm’ for the eyes. For sinus problems, pronounce the word ‘Mmm’. For the nose, it is said to pronounce the word ‘Llmm’. And for the lungs, the pronunciation of the word ‘Ssss’ is quite good.
Moreover, the sound of a metal bowl (singing bowl) also provides peace of mind in many cases. Such methods are used in various schools, colleges, hotels, health care centers, entertainment centers, clubs, therapy centers, meditation centers, spa or massage centers, drug treatment centers, children’s and old age homes, child and adolescent correctional facilities, prisons, psychiatric treatment centers, rehabilitation centers, etc. in the developed world, as well as for autistic people.
Recently, a special study in Bangladesh found that other problems that can be solved through sound therapy are: poor eyesight, poor hearing, frequent mood swings, anger towards oneself and suicidal tendencies, not liking anything, restlessness and inability to concentrate on any task, sexual aversion, constipation, gastric and food aversions, irritable mood or getting angry at a small amount, hesitation or indecisiveness in all tasks, dizziness or loss of balance, not falling asleep normally or waking up before a certain time, etc. In a word, all the physical and mental improvements that occur as a result of meditation are also possible through the application of this sound therapy! It calms the mind and refreshes the body. Efforts to use and progress it are ongoing in various places in Bangladesh.
