Ujjwal Roy, Narail District Representative:
A protest march and rally was held in Narail to demand the trial of genocide killer Sheikh Hasina organized by the District Volunteer Party. The leaders and activists of Narail district branch and organization of Bangladesh Nationalist Party BNP participated in it.
Ujjwal Roy said from Narail that on Thursday (August 22) afternoon, the protest procession under the banner of Narail District Volunteers Party left the office of BNP and circled the main main road of the city and ended at the same place.
It has been reported that the anti-discrimination student movement, the killing of many innocent scholars and madrasa students in the dark of night in Shapla Square, the murders and disappearances in the last 15 years, the brutal suppression of the democratic movement of the opposition parties including BNP by turning the state forces into monsters, the torture and killing of security personnel, the quota reform movement. The leaders and activists of Narail District Volunteer Party, District Jubo Dal, Chhatra Dal, Bangladesh Nationalist Party BNP, in memory of the martyrs in the brutal massacre and the trial of the murderer Hasina.
District BNP leaders Shahriar Rizvi George, Mujahidur Rahman Palash, District Volunteers Convenor Khandaker Fachiar Rahman, Member Secretary Manjurul Saeed Babu, Juba Dal General Secretary Shaydat Kabir Rubel, Chhatra Dal President Farid Biswas, Khandkar Mahmudur Hasan Soni and others spoke.
