Narail District Correspondent: One person was arrested with 50 pieces of Yaba tablets and 300 grams of ganja in Narail DB police raid. Narail District Detective Police has arrested a drug dealer named Md. Buruj Sheikh (35) involved in drug trade. The arrested Md. Buruj Sheikh (35) is the son of deceased Badir Sheikh of village Kumri (Purbapara) under Lohagara police station of Narail district. Ujjal Roy, Narail district representative said, on Wednesday (May 23) the arrested accused, Md. Buruj Sheikh (35), was arrested from the kitchen in the west corner of the residence of Kumdi (Poorvapara) village of Dighlia union under Lohagara police station of Narail district. Based on secret information, under the supervision of Narail District Intelligence Branch Officer-in-Charge Md Chhabbirul Alam, SI (retd) Md Farooq Hossain, ASI (retd) Mahfuzur Rahman along with the force conducted a raid and arrested Md Buruj Sheikh (35). Fifty pieces of Yaba tablets and three hundred grams of ganja were seized from the accused. In this regard, a case has been filed under the Narcotics Control Act at Lohagarh police station. The accused has been produced before the learned Court. Officer-in-charge of Narail District Intelligence Branch, Md. Chhabbirul said, under the guidance of Superintendent of Police of Narail District Mohd. Mehdi Hasan, the district police is working sincerely to make Narail drug free.
